Merry Widows

The Merry Widows started on July 25, 1997 with five recent widows from the First United Methodist Church in Humble, Texas. By July 2009, the group had grown from five to fifty-five (55) women. Many come from other towns and communities as well as different religions. This is not a grief support group but more about friendship and moving forward. Meetings are the first Friday of every month at 11:30 am in a private room at at the Golden Corral in Humble. Those in the group who enjoy games also meet at Golden Corral on the second and third Fridays each month at 11:30 am to play Chickenfoot. New members are welcome.
