All children are welcome at FUMC Humble.  If your child has a special need, please contact Sharon Taylor at 281-446-2332.

We would like to accommodate your child in the best way possible. 

  • Sunday School Buddy Program in which a volunteer is assigned to help your child while in Sunday School or in a separate classroom.
  • Specific Special Needs Sunday School class for children that need a different environment than traditional Sunday School.  Room 145

Special Needs Volunteers

Would you be interested in helping with children with special needs on Sunday morning? 

Possible Volunteer opportunities:

  • Sunday School buddy-accompany a student with special needs to his or her 'mainstreamed' Sunday School class.
  • Teach in the Special Needs class-  At 9:45 a.m. we will offer a class specifically for children that need a different Sunday School environment
  • Sunday morning coordinator-Greet parents, answer questions, communicate needs, check on students, buddies, and teachers in this program
